Background
The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers.

January 2014 | Government announces revised Pupil Premium for the 2014/2015 financial year for Free School Meal and Looked After children. |
January 2014 | Government announces revised Pupil Premium for the 2013/2014 financial year for Free School Meal and Looked After children. |
December 2012 | Government announces Pupil Premium allocations for the 2013/2014 academic year - £900 per Free School Meal child, £300 per Service child and £900 per Looked After child. |
September 2012 | Ofsted publish the report The Pupil Premium. |
April 2012 | Pupil Premium extended to include any child who had been eligible for FSM at any point in the last six years (Ever 6 FSM) and for children whose parents were currently serving in the Armed Forces. |
April 2011 | Pupil Premium introduced for FSM and looked after children. |
